I daresay that's the cost of living: The inevitable and frequent disappointments, dismissals, and downfalls. That's not too dramatic to say, is it? You'd know better, as a professional.

For every masterpiece, there's undoubtedly a pile of failures and shit before it. Would it be too banal to suggest we learn from those? Dismissals and all.

I'd say that's rather respectable, actually. Climbing out of the veritable pit of failures one may have dug themselves into is no easy task. Not everyone can do it. Not everyone is meant to.
